Dynamic, forward-thinking director sought for School of Nursing at the University of Northern Colorado in the College of Natural and Health Sciences. The director, who holds a full-time, 12-month appointment, is the chief administrative officer and academic leader for the School with responsibilities for academic programs, fiscal resources, and personnel within the School. The director will build within strong programs that are well respected by community partners. Programs include PhD, DNP, FNP, CNL, RN-BSN, Second Degree BSN, and traditional baccalaureate programs. Candidates for this position must meet all requirements for chief nurse administrators in baccalaureate and graduate degree nursing programs, including holding a doctoral degree in nursing or a closely related field. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a record of teaching excellence and scholarly productivity sufficient to qualify him/her at the Associate or Full Professor rank, as well a strong and building record of outstanding leadership.
