July 2009       Full-Time Faculty Position The College of Graduate Nursing (CGN) at Western University of Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The DNP program is an interdisciplinary MSN-to-doctorate completion program with a clinical focus on the care of vulnerable populations. The DNP program prepares graduates to function in an independent leadership role in the development of community based, interprofessional and collaborative solutions to the healthcare and lifestyle problems facing vulnerable populations. The DNP program is delivered using Blackboard software in a Web-based format. Western University and CGN are strongly supportive of clinical practice and clinical scholarship.
