Overview

This presentation is an introduction to potential consulting applications for the CNL role, including project management, team building, networking, and information sharing. Listeners will understand the benefits and challenges to implementing the CNL role in a consulting context. Two case studies will be discussed.

Objectives:

1. Participants will learn why the CNL is well-suited for consulting work.

2. Participants will learn the advantages of working as a consultant as well as challenges.

3. Participants will be exposed to the ideas of project management and core team building, which have been implemented successfully in other fields.

4. Participants will hear from a nurse consultant who is actively working to implement the CNL role at multiple facilities.
