Advancement Resources Workshops
Advancement Resources, the nation's leading provider of research-based development training, has developed a curriculum specific for academic nurse leaders and educators and is offering a special preview of their research, concepts and instructional design at two dynamic philanthropic workshops. These workshops explore the importance of healthcare philanthropy, concepts for identifying grateful patients and families to support nursing education, and how resource development provides opportunities to best prepare the next generation of nursing professionals. Each workshop features research-based content, interactive activities, and video clips of nurses, donors, and development professionals discussing and analyzing philanthropic experiences. It is highly recommended that deans and top nursing faculty attend both workshops with their assigned development professionals.
