The Worth and Value of Faculty Practice
Explore the concepts of worth, value, importance, and sustainability with respected nursing deans who have had administrative and financial oversight for academics and practice. Identify how successful faculty practice supports the mission of the school and contributes positively to various activities within the nursing academic unit. Discuss additional organizational issues important to faculty practice including administrative support, internal and external marketing, and faculty recruitment.

Consider ways to maximize the links between practice and research in the nursing academic unit, the campus, and the community.
