Consider the ways national health care policy affects nursing practice and how practice can
effectively influence the national policy agenda. Discuss the many ways policy and practice
intersect, and the implications for nursing faculty active in practice as well as their students.

Examine these questions and others to gain insights about how practice can be more effective at your school.
