General information

Join AACN in San Antonio to consider issues of vital importance to baccalaureate and pre-licensure nursing education. Sessions will inform, engage, and challenge participants with timely and relevant information and discussions. Attendees have the opportunity to network with colleagues and share successful strategies. The Executive Development Series is once again offered in conjunction with the Baccalaureate Education Conference.

Conference Highlights

The Executive Development Series and Baccalaureate Education Conference are held consecutively, enabling participants to attend both events.

The Baccalaureate Education Conference is a forum for faculty in undergraduate and pre-licensure nursing education to explore issues of mutual interest and share ideas and successful strategies. The conference encourages attendees to:

  • Identify strategies to expect and enforce a climate of civility in academic and clinical settings.
  • Determine what constitutes a professional identity in nursing, and how to instill desirable qualities in undergraduate nursing students.
  • Gain a national perspective on RN-to-BSN education, including current issues and priorities unique to this level of education.
  • Consider the most common and pressing legal concerns for nursing faculty and strategies to prevent and respond to challenges.
  • Select concurrent, abstract, and poster presentations of particular interest and applicability for discussion in a smaller forum.
