The Faculty Practice Pre-Conference is designed for those who promote, administer, and engage in faculty practice. The pre-conference format for this group was introduced in 2012, and the same program precedes both the Doctoral and Master’s Education Conferences. This event is in transition from the previous biennial Faculty Practice Conference to a new event to be determined and coordinated by the Practice Leadership Network. The pre-conference immediately precedes the Master’s Education Conference, allowing educators to attend both events.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Buena Vista Palace, 1900 Buena Vista Drive, Orlando, Florida 32830. The room rate is $169 single/double (incl. resort charge $16.95). The cutoff date for room reservations at the group rate is January 29, 2013. Taxis are available from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and cost approximately $40 each way. Shuttle service is available through Mears Transportation and costs approximately $21 each way or $34 round trip. Contact hours will be awarded to those who attest to attendance at entire sessions and complete the electronic evaluation process.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by February 8, 2013. A refund of the conference, minus a $75 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date.
No refunds will be granted for requests received after February 8, 2013. Submit all requests to AACN Conference Registration via email at email@example.com or via fax (202) 785-8320. Conference registrations are fully transferrable (see Substitution Policy); however, conference fees cannot be transferred to other conferences. AACN regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.
AACN reserves the right to cancel this conference and any group activity that does not meet minimal group requirements. Non-refundable airline tickets are the responsibility of the registrant.
Registration substitutions are permitted prior to the conference; however, conference fees cannot be transferred to other conferences. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution as well as updating any contact information.
