General Information

 

Graduate Nursing Admissions Professionals is a diverse group comprised of nursing education administrators and faculty responsible for graduate nursing student recruitment, admissions, marketing, and programming. The purpose of the group is to provide an opportunity for those most involved in recruiting graduate nursing students to share their successes, develop new strategies, and to establish a resource network of peers.

 


Registration & Fees

The deadline for early registration is Friday, March 15, 2013. Late fees will apply to registrations received after March 15. E-mail messages confirming registration for this meeting will be sent to all participants.

Hotel Information

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Westin Charlotte by the NSNA for the AACN GNAP conference. The room rate is $189 single/double. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (704) 375-2600. The room block may fill before the deadline, so please make your reservation early. The NSNA block will not be open until December 3.

Transportation

The Westin Charlotte is easily accessible from the area's major highways, including Interstate 85, and is less than 10 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Both taxi cabs and private car services featuring sedan town cars are available at the airport and, due to city regulations, both have the same cost. Once inside the city, there are many other transportation options that will allow you to easily navigate Charlotte, including a light rail service with a stop connected to the hotel. Conference materials will be provided on site.
 

Continuing Education

Continuing Education contact hours will be provided by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing to all conference participants at no additional cost. CE certificates will be provided in your conference packet.
 

Refund and Cancellation

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by March 15, 2013. A refund of the conference, minus a $150 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date.

No refunds will be granted for requests received after March 15, 2013. Submit all requests to AACN Conference Registration via email at conferences@aacn.nche.edu or via fax (202) 785-8320. Conference registrations are fully transferrable (see Substitution Policy); however, conference fees cannot be transferred to other conferences. AACN regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.

AACN reserves the right to cancel this conference and any group activity that does not meet minimal group requirements. Non-refu
ndable airline tickets are the responsibility of the registrant.

Substitution Policy

Registration substitutions are permitted prior to the conference; however, conference fees cannot be transferred to other conferences. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution as well as updating any contact information.
