The 2014 Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) Summit will be held January 16-18, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County near Disneyland Resort in Garden Grove, CA. The CNL Summit provides a national forum for all healthcare and academic audiences currently implementing or interested in exploring CNL education and practice. Conference topics include the impact and value of the CNL role in achieving the Triple Aim: improved cost, quality, and service outcomes; new models of care in today’s era of healthcare reform and the CNL role, particularly related to care coordination, lateral integration and transitions of care; and multi-professional practice and the CNL role in leading and building teams. Special forums for the CNLA membership, CNL faculty, and Nursing/Healthcare Executives also will be offered. This year's Summit will also feature the third CNL Research Symposium, a pre-conference workshop held on Thursday morning hosted by the Commission on Nurse Certification (CNC) that focuses on the CNL’s role in data collection and evaluation for reporting clinical outcomes. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.
Contact hours will be awarded to those who attest to attendance at entire sessions and complete the electronic evaluation process after the conference. The CE Certificate will be provided online only after completion of evaluation.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by January 3, 2014. A refund of the conference, minus a $150 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date.
No refunds will be granted for requests received after January 3, 2014. Submit all requests to AACN Conference Registration via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via fax (202) 785-8320. Conference registrations are fully transferrable (see Substitution Policy); however, conference fees cannot be transferred to other conferences. AACN regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.
AACN reserves the right to cancel this conference and any group activity that does not meet minimal group requirements. Non-refundable airline tickets are the responsibility of the registrant.
Registration substitutions are permitted prior to the conference; however, conference fees cannot be transferred to other conferences. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution as well as updating any contact information.
