Here you can advocate on behalf of issues surrounding nursing education, research, and practice, as well as issues impacting the healthcare community and America’s patients. How can you be an advocate? Become an AACN Grassroots Network member today by entering your information into the “Quick Sign Up” box below. As a member, you will:

  • receive Action Alerts requesting you to contact your Member of Congress to take action on a specific issue.
  • receive AACN’s monthly newsletter Policy Beat highlighting policy and advocacy items of interest,
  • notifications about funding and other opportunities

Please help ensure that Congress understand the issues that are important to nursing, the healthcare workforce, and our patients by taking a brief moment to send a message through the following Action Alerts in the rotating banner below. Highlights from AACN’s 2015 Fall Congressional Reception

During the 114th Congress, AACN will advance a strategic advocacy initiative to have meaningful conversations with all 535 Members of Congress and their staff. By connecting with members of Congress through AACN’s fall and spring Advocacy Days, Action Alerts, and government affairs staff, we will work to educate policy makers on our association’s priorities for nursing and healthcare education, research, and practice.
