Master’s Essentials Tool Kit Now Available

At its January meeting, the AACN Board of Directors approved a new faculty tool kit that was developed to facilitate implementation of the 2011 Essentials of Master’s Education in Nursing. The tool kit was developed to provide key resources to assist schools as they engage in curricular redesign to incorporate the Master’s Essentials; suggest integrative learning strategies that will strengthen learning and leadership development; stimulate strong academic-practice partnerships; and provide a forum for sharing innovative curricular and program ideas across schools. The new resources was designed to be dynamic, using a Web-based platform that allows for additions and changes as new ideas are developed.
