Call for Nominations
AACN's Nominating Committee has issued a Call for Nominations for candidates to fill five Board seats and two vacancies on the Nominating Committee. The committee will choose the slate of candidates at the 2015 Fall Semiannual Meeting based on nominations and the committee's deliberations. AACN member Dean representatives are invited to submit an application and the Nominating Committee will choose the slate of candidates at the 2015 Fall Semiannual Meeting based on nominations and the committee's deliberations. The positions under consideration are:
- Board member-at-large (3 vacancies)
- Nominating Committee (2 vacancies)
Those submitting a nomination must complete the following forms: a Nomination Form, Consent Statement Form, Nominations Biographical Data Form, and Personal Statement.
The Nomination Form is to be completed by the nominator stating his/her reason for the candidate's suitability for the position. Self nominations will be accepted.
The Consent Statement is to be completed by the nominee stating his/her consent to serve if chosen for the position. Please note that Board members are expected to attend three Board meetings each year. The dates for these meetings are highlighted on the consent statement.
Biographical Data Form
The Biographical Data Form will be distributed to the membership in the electronic mail ballot should you be chosen as a candidate. Space allotted to each category may be modified however please limit to one page. Candidates are also requested to submit their full curriculum vitae.
The Personal will also be distributed to the membership in the electronic mail ballot. Please limit the personal statement to one page.

Completed forms should be returned to AACN as soon as possible. However, the forms will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on October 24 at the registration desk during the Fall Semiannual Meeting. The slate of candidates will be presented during the Business Meeting at the Fall Meeting.
