Quality and Safety Education for Nursing: Enhancing Faculty Capacity
This program sponsors regional faculty-training institutes that will take place between 2010 and 2011 in locations across the country. Employing a "train-the-trainer" model, these Faculty Development Institutes will offer a 2 1/2-day intensive workshop designed to enhance the ability of nursing faculty to effectively develop quality and safety competencies among graduates of their programs.
Registration is free. You will need to supply the following information to successfully complete an online application:
- Letter of support from the dean or head of your nursing program.
(See Dean's Letter Instructions and template).
- Personal contact information.
- Academic institution information.
- Professional background and experience. (You must be teaching in an entry-level registered nursing program).
- Identification of other applicants from your academic institution.
- Identification of professional enhancement goals.
