Graduate Nursing Student Academy Leadership Council

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is pleased to announce the formation of the inaugural Leadership Council for the new Graduate Nursing Student Academy (GNSA). The Leadership Council will consist of 10 graduate nursing student members who will serve a two year term to help shape the formation of the GNSA and provide direction on what programs, services, and resources should be developed to meet the needs of nursing students in master’s and doctoral degree programs.

Graduate nursing students interested in serving on the GNSA Leadership Council must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduate nursing student at an AACN member institution
  • At least two years of course work in the program left to complete
  • Ability to participate in six conference calls (every other month) during the year for 1 – 2 hours
  • Ability to participate in one face-to-face or virtual meeting during the academic year

We are currently reviewing  applications submitted for the GNSA Leadership Council. Selections will be announced end of January 2013.
