The International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) is pleased to present the Standards for Best Practice in Simulation, consisting of a framework for the following simulation-related topics: Terminology, Professional Integrity of Participant, Participant Objectives, Facilitation Methods, Simulation Facilitator, Debriefing Process, and Evaluation of Expected Outcome. This is a result of a two year collaborative project including input from Nursing Simulation Leaders, the INACSL membership, and expert peer reviewers from healthcare simulation. The standards can be utilized to provide a framework for your simulation program, guide research projects, and attract potential donors.
