The International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) is pleased to present A Faculty Development: Facilitation Methods in Simulation. This presentation is based on the INACSL Standards for Best Practice in Simulation, Standard IV: Facilitation Methods, and Standard V: Simulation Facilitator. The presenters will define and identify the facilitator and facilitation methods and provide examples for integrating various facilitation methods into current simulation practice.
The participant will:
- Define the terms of facilitation and the facilitator for simulation in accordance with INACSL Standards
- Identify various types of facilitation methods
- Identify at least one strategy to incorporate facilitation into current simulation practice
