Webinar Overview
Nurses and nursing students are increasingly using social networking to share educational and workplace experiences; however, there are serious consequences for inappropriate use of social media. Last year, thirty-three state boards received complaints of nurses who violated patient privacy while using social media. The majority of these boards took action. Using an interactive approach, this session will explore both positive and negative benefits of social media and discuss strategies to manage social media effectively.
