YensenJack Yensen, PhD, RN, MN, BSc(Hons), Visiting Professor, University of West Georgia

After formal education as a scientist, specializing in physiology and pharmacology, Dr. Yensen became a nurse and specialized in psychiatry and community health and taught in a community college setting. During this time he helped to develop nursing informatics and elearning and was invited to consult with healthcare corporations and academic centers on recruitment, retention and elearning. Dr. Yensen was fortunate enough to be invited as a virtual faculty member to several North American universities to do faculty development and teach at the graduate level in pathophysiology, pharmacology and informatics. His ongoing and current interests are in elearning best practices, concept-resource mapping applications, mentoring and evidence based curriculum development and curriculum mapping.
