This Webinar addresses current issues and expectations related to nursing faculty workload, a significant factor impacting quality of faculty work life. Activities which contribute to nursing faculty workload, along with sources of stress associated with workload will be introduced. Factors impacting perception of workload will be examined, including productivity measures, expectations for scholarship, and faculty practice.
Anita G. Hufft, PhD, RN
Dr. Hufft’s scholarship focuses on forensic psychiatric nursing and nursing faculty work issues, particularly in the areas of faculty mentoring and behavioral health workforce. Dr. Hufft has held positions in academic leadership since 1991, as Campus Dean of Nursing at Indiana University Southeast and Associate Dean for Academic Programs LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and currently as the Dean of the College of Nursing, Valdosta State University, Valdosta Georgia.
